Credit and debit cards

This module of Loan Performer is used to manage ATM and POS (Automatic Teller Machines and Point of Sale) services. Crystal Clear Software Ltd is not a provider of ATM/POS services. So our clients, the micro-finance institutions that use Loan Performer, need to work with a 3rd party to enable these services. In Uganda this is Inter-switch, but in other countries this may be a different institution. With this new feature we hope our clients will open up new business opportunities and bring a new dynamic into the micro finance sector.

Loan Performer handles 4 parts with regards to ATM/POS transactions; they are:

Card Handling, from client applications for cards to issuing, suspending and canceling cards.
Validating ATM/POS transactions and consequently updating the client’s current accounts.
Accounting for ATM/POS transactions, from income on sales of cards to costs of transactions, the charges to pay to the ATM/POS supplier as well as Excise duty to pay.
Reporting on cards applied, issued, suspended and canceled cards and on successful as well as unsuccessful ATM/POS transactions. The module consists of the following features:
